The health and well-being of our EPIC members and staff is our top priority and has guided our decisions during this unprecedented time, including the preparation of our studio for a safe and responsible re-opening at our NEW LOCATION. As part of our comprehensive plan, we are constantly evaluating our City/State’s situation to determine how to safely continue to practice indoors.
For now, we want to re-introduce The EPIC Yoga Safe Studio Standards,
our answer to the challenge of creating the safest environment for our EPIC community.
Some of the measures below are temporary and others will be permanent.
Our team has received extensive training on the new processes and protocols with ongoing inspections.
During the initial re-opening period we ask for your cooperation, patience and compassion as we navigate the next few months.
SOCIAL(LY) DISTANCING- We can still be social! Just nama-stay 6 feet away.

RESERVE YOUR CLASS in advance on the mind body app or EPIC Yoga website, as we are limiting studio and class capacity. The schedule will be changing and evolving as things continue to move forward.

CANCELLED CLASS POLICY: To open up space for your fellow yogis, we require that you cancel 2 hours or more before class starts, no exceptions. A $15 late cancel / no show fee will be charged to your credit card on file. Reservations made within 2 hours of the scheduled start of class cannot be cancelled without incurring a late cancel/no show fee.

LIMIT YOUR TIME IN THE STUDIO to 5-10 min before/after class. Doors will be locked outside of that time.

DO NOT LINGER OUTSIDE THE DOORS AFTER CLASS: As mentioned, we don't have our FULL space (aka Lobby) just yet. We kindly ask that you respect the workspace of our VERY close neighbors. We would love for you to visit! Just be sure to do so outside of the complex :)

USE MAT MARKERS provided and measured out to meet CDC requirements and to give your fellow yogis space in the new studio.

ENTER THE PLAZA BONITA COMPLEX from the front or back street and and make your way to suite #111. From ECR: Walk down the stairs and run right into our door. From Calle Valle, enter through the gate and head right up the stairs. Take a left and look for the EPIC signs to take you to #111.

ENTERING AND EXITING is done through the same door. Please be mindful to keep your distance and move in and out as quick as possible. Thank you for your cooperation to move the check in/out process along quickly and smoothly!

BRING YOUR OWN MAT AND PROPS, blocks will be available for yin/restorative classes only at this time. A bin will be provided for you to return used blocks to upon exiting and will be properly sanitized after class. Blocks, Bolsters, Straps, Blankets and Mats are available for purchase at our online store. Mat rentals will not be available until further notice.

TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER We’re encouraging yogis and staff to limit person-to-person contact, including hugs, high fives, fist bumps, etc. Community and BIG love is deep in our EPIC Yoga DNA—but for now, we want to ensure that we take care of our EPIC Family.
CLEAN FREAKS + GEEKS
In addition to our existing continuous cleaning process, we have added a rigorous, deep-cleaning and disinfecting process, where we will stringently sanitize all studio surfaces with hospital grade EPA approved disinfectants.

OUR FANCY NEW ELECTROSTATIC sprayer will be deployed to efficiently clean and disinfect before and after every class efficiently attacking microbes, providing 3x more coverage in the same amount of time than traditional efforts. This equipment will also be used to fully disinfect all practice spaces and studio props.

HEPA filters are just one part of our clean air filtration system.

Surgical Air Purifier cycles all of the air in the room 12 times/hr and removes harmful particles that are replaced with fresh, clean, breathable air.

WASH YO HANDS! And utilize provided disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer as necessary.

FACE MASKS: Please wear a face mask while entering the studio and until you reach your mat. Students may wear face masks at their personal discretion during practice, teachers will not be wearing them while teaching unless they prefer to do so.

IF YOU AREN’T FEELING WELL, have a cough, fever or symptoms of COVID-19, please don’t attend class for your wellbeing and that of your teachers and fellow EPIC yogis.

IF YOU HAVE TESTED POSITIVE for COVID-19 or have been in close contact with someone who has, we ask that you not come to the studio for 14 days or until you’ve tested negative.

WE WILL REQUIRE daily temp and self-health checks for all staff members. Per CDC Guidelines, individuals with a body temperature greater than 100.4 will be not permitted entry into the studio.
The EPIC Yoga Safe Studio Standard will be updated as we adapt and evaluate existing and new protocols.
It might seem overwhelming, we feel it too. But trust us: As soon as that first song drops and you find yourself in down dog, moving, flowing, giving, receiving… you’ll find yourself right back in that warm familiar place you know, cherish and love. The sanctuary you have been needing now more than ever is even safer now—and we can’t wait to see you soon!
