COMMUNITY CENTERED
EPIC Yoga's 200-Hour Teacher Training will advance your practice, take you deeper into the many layers of yoga, build your confidence and help find your voice. This program is designed for both those wanting to deepen their practice and for aspiring teachers.
This program is a community-centered program. The entire curriculum is presented by our very own EPIC Yoga dynamic teaching staff with diverse teaching practices and lineages, extensive teaching experience, and a passion for community building. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of yoga far beyond physical asana, further deepen your personal practice, and develop your teaching skills in order to hold space for all bodies and identities. Honoring the roots of yoga and understanding social equity in yoga are both foundational pillars in our program’s curriculum, preparing you with a comprehensive and informed perspective in your practice, teaching, and daily life.

A foundational approach to safely teach and practice with purpose, intentionality, and accessibility for all bodies

Exploration of intelligent sequencing for vinyasa yoga

Introduction to Eastern and Western anatomy, biomechanics, energy subtle body, and more

Exploration of over 100 Asanas, including Sanskrit names, alignment, energetic properties, modifications, contraindications and benefits

ATTENDANCE
To ensure equitable completion for all students, students must attend all 200 hours of the program, including lectures and mentor meetings. There is a maximum of 2 absences allowed per program for emergencies only. In the event of an absence, we’re happy to work with you on this to ensure you can get any missed information during an unforeseen absence. The program leadership will schedule a makeup session at a rate of $150 per session.
